Memory Screenings are performed by a representative from Brain Matters Research, a leading Alzheimer’s disease research company with a satellite facility located in the Kane Center. Each screening takes approximately 20 minutes. Participants will be asked questions regarding language, attention, recollecting events and more. Appointments must be scheduled in advance by calling 772-223-7880.

Florida Rural Legal Services (FRLS) 1^st and 3^rd Thursdays of every month – FRLS lawyers come to the Kane Center the 1^st and 3^rd Thursdays of each month and can provide you with advice on a range of issues, including wills, family law, estate planning, bankruptcy, tenant/landlord concerns and more. When scheduling your appointment, you must request the Ask a Lawyer day at the Kane Center. If you do not wish to be seen at the Kane Center, please indicate that you were referred by us but you would prefer to be directed to one of the staff attorneys.
